Vi fick en riktigt trevlig rapport från Rubin när han målade årets Sweden Rock förra veckan:
DET BOR EN HÅRDROCKARE I OSS ALLA…
Jag var runt åtta-nio år, när jag för allra första gången såg Judas Priest klassiska omslag till plattan Screaming for Vengeance. När jag satte vinylplattan i spelaren och hörde Rob Halfords hotande mantra: You´ve got another thing coming fanns det inget i världen som var lika tufft.
Drygt tjugofem år senare rattar jag vår Volvo (från samma år som nyss nämnda platta) mot de Sölvesborgiska skogarna, och årets upplaga av Sweden Rock Festival.
Där väntar runt åttio kvadrat målningsyta i form av en trailer, som skall målas under parollen hårdrocksgraffiti. Mina ursprungsplaner – tre graffare, tre dagars deadline – har grusats. Jag är ensam mot en tvådagars deadline.

Burnern föds på första dagen och på den andra dagen föds en flinande Ozzy och det – som en gång var världens tuffaste – skivomslag, båda i Montana Pistachio. Bara finliret och signeringen blir kvar till dag tre.
Med Mister Bigs lägereldsplåga To be with you ekandes från huvudscenen drar jag sista strecket i mitt livs första hårdrocksgraffiti. Soundtracket till finalen kunde ha varit tuffare, ponerar jag samtidigt som jag samlar ihop de tomma burkarna, men det är väl som Lemmy säger: You win some you lose some.
